Welcome to Municipal Committee Ellenabad

Ellenabad, previously known as Kharial, is a historic town with a municipal committee in the Sirsa district of the state of Haryana, India. It is located to the north of the Ghaggar-Hakra River and serves as a port of entry into the state of Haryana from Rajasthan side.

As of January 2011 the city had a population of approximately 85000 urban and about 50000 rural. It is a constituency of Haryana Vidhan Sabha.The current chairman of Municipal Committee of town is Mr. Ravinder Kumar Ladha. Current MLA is Mr. A. Chautala ji.

The Municipal Committee Ellenabad is entrusted with the administration and management of the town’s civic services. Its key functions include:
